Bugalug Review

I have done several reviews for girly accessories and have loved them all, but this, this is different. Bugalug is this great little company out of Canada. I was contacted by Bugalug and asked if I would like to write a review on their products. Soon after I received a package in the mail and of course the girls were all too excited.

What I received is amazing. Not just because of the beautiful trendy colors which first caught me eye, but  because of how they are made. Smart, solid, handmade and well made.

These are cool! We were sent the Funky 3 Pack Pony Loops and the Pretty In Pink Mutlistripe barrettes. With the Pony Loops there is no little nooby thing poking out from the back of the button. It is a flat surface so the button sits flat on the hair. Next the elastic loop is small which I found very interesting. Most pony holders have full size bands. My problem with these bands is that we all here in the D house have very thin hair so we have to wind the bands around and around and around..ect. You get the picture. So because these are much shorter not only is it faster to do my girls hair (they do not hold still for long), but I have been wearing them myself! The look is super sweet and I love the shiny finish.

The barrettes are slick, unlike anything I have ever seen before and this is why..

"Our unique silicone gel grip strip is adhered to the inside of every Bugalug barrette. This grippy strip is the 1st of its kind. Many other barrettes companies are looking for ways to imitate our grippy strip, but they just can't compete with our unique design. If that weren’t enough, each Bugalug hair clip is glueless too! By using a special adhesive, made just for Bugalug, our clips can withstand the wash and dryer and will never look bumpy or clumpy from glue.Bugalug clips are great for any hair type, even very fine hair, and any age, from baby to adult and very girl in between."

We received the All Girl Bubbles Adjustable Headband. How awesome is it when you and your girls can share hair accessories? These headbands are full adjustable and fit from infant to adult...and they stay! I love to wear headbands but have 2 problems. I get the "pinch headache" from the ends of the headbands pinching right behind my ears and it is hard to wear my sunglasses with headbands. C has the same 'pinching' problem with the toddler style headbands and refuses to wear them. These headbands resolve all those problems. Not only can share them because of the easy push button and slide adjustment, but there is no pinching and they stay put because it forms to your head. The smartest idea ever.

Along with these wonderful products I have mentioned, Bugalug has more to offer. Stop by and checkout the Soother & Bib Clips, and Cinch Belts for Boys and Girls.  Now, just because we are mommies does not mean we can't be stylish too right, so take a peak at the Woman's Belts and pick up something special for yourself.
